2010 Comic Con News from Cinema Static

If you’re looking for things to do outside of the convention floor of the International San Diego 2010 Comic-Con, there are quite a few things that are happening. I mean, heck, after a entire day of scurrying around the floor and different panels, I’ve got tons of energy left-over for the night-life!

If you do, here are some of the things going on off-site after hours. Have fun!

July 23rd:

City of Heroes Party is by the makers of the hit PC game City of Heroes and they’re tossing a party at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Marked Men Party is a pirate-themed event that is held on a full-size pirate ship replica.

The Tweet House party on the USS Midway is all about harnessing the Social Media tools available to us and expected guests are Levar Burton, Tyrese Gibson, and Brent Spiner.

Comic Con takes place in the San Diego Convention Center

July 24th:

The San Diego Zombie Walk is open to all ages and you don’t even need a Comic-Con ticket to attend! Dress up dead and join in on the fun. There’s a Walk After-Party following the event.

The Comic-Con Mystery Show is a Dinner Detective Interactive Murder Mystery Show that creates a special SDCC themed production. Dinner includes a full four-course meal with the show & cost $60.

Adam Carolla has a gig at 9 p.m. in town.

Also Mentions

  • San Diego Nighttime Zoo,
  • San Diego Natural History Museum & their Dinosaurs Alive 3D IMAX movie
  • Sea World Summer Nights

I’m sure there will be more things out there by the time 2010 Comic-Con kicks it in gear. Check in on the Off-Site Events link for more details.
