For those of us headed to the 2010 International Comic-Con, we’ll have more than the standard fantasy and science fiction TV series represented. We’ll be seeing more procedural TV series at the event than normal.
It seems that networks are taking note at the impact that Comic-Con can have on a franchise’s marketing efforts and are looking to take advantage of the fan’s ability to spread the word of something they feel is cool.
Last years Burn Notice panel was exceptionally well done. Michael Shanks moderated and it opened with a video with Michael Westen doing his usual monologue about how to not miss a panel at Comic-Con. Basically, you just have to create a delay in the previous panels in the same ballroom that your targeted panel is in. It was rich and classic Burn Notice instructional.
This year, it looks like there will be a few shows debuting and some making return appearances.
