Tonight’s episode of Supernatural, called “Back to the Future II,” was getting back to the story of stopping the Apocalypse and they’re coming right on target with the intensity of what could or couldn’t happen.
Anna (Julie McNiven) goes back in time (1978) to prevent the birth of the Winchester brothers and at times, it was a powerful episode as it carried on through out the episode. Anna was gunning for Mary and John. (Sam and Dean’s parents)
The brothers touched on their past and how they felt about their parent. Sam’s (Jared Padalecki) perspective on understanding how much his father looked out for them was incredibly touching.
Seeing Dean (Jensen Ackles) understand his role in the whole process, and how his blood lineage goes back to Cain & Abel just blew my mind!
It was an awesome episode as we wind down the 5th season of Supernatural.
