I totally agree with everything you said in this fantastic blog. Jeff has brought myself and some of my friends so close to the sport we love with such a passion. His way with words and with people put him above the rest. I of course follow all of the reporters, commentator and personnel that deal with racing, and no matter what I may be too busy to read other tweets, but I always stop to read the tweets from Jeff. One of my most memorable experiences at a race will always have to be the tweet up with Jeff and a dozen other tweeps. What great conversation, so easy and friendly. He was open and honest and refreshing. I hope that he will find something to keep his face and his words front and center in the world of NASCAR. Love ya man.

I was in shock for him after reading that initial tweet the other day. How could they do that to him? He has so many followers that get their primary nascar news from him and him alone. When he's at the track, if it happened two seconds ago...we knew it! I will miss him and hope he finds a new place to call home. I have a feeling he will keep twittering away though...which is a good thing! Thanks for all your tweets buddy. I didn't always agree with you, but I sure respect your opinion. Good luck and a new door will open for you soon. If not already. Heck, you probably already have an iron or two in the fire...but just like those athletes that you report about, "can't say anything about it yet"!

I hope we can get more followers for Jeff and that we will soon see that he has a new, better job. Kenny Wallace has 17,032 followers. Maybe he can suggest that they also follow Jeff. Maybe one of those 17,032 has the contact Jeff needs. I join his 3499 other followers in wishing him good luck!

Great job with this and you are right on about Jeff Gluck. He also started the "tweet ups" at the tracks and then NASCAR picked up on that and started joining in. I was lucky enough to meet him at one in Martinsville in October and he was very gracious - giving time to us all. He is a factor for the fans and we've enjoyed having him - hope he lands something awesome soon!!!

I totally agree. Jeff definately takes us with him at every angle. I can't wait to get home from work to get into Twitter to see what and where he is today. He has a tremendous insight into what we need to know and see. And he makes us feel important to the sport. You're right...HE ANSWERS US INDIVIDUALLY. To me...he's the next best thing to talking directly to my favorite driver. Thank you Jeff Gluck. You're one of a kind and we appreciate all you've done for us.
