Matt Smith takes over the iconic role of Doctor Who from David Tennant and though I’m waiting it out to to make any judgement, it’s hard to jump in and like the new actor.

I’ve seen the “End of Time” trashed and praised. I’ve yet to see it but soon. Soon I will see this final hurrah that is David Tennant’s and watch his transformation into the 27-year-old Matt Smith.

Old-Schoolers aren’t happy with the new Doctor. But it is what it is.

The 5th series of Doctor Who will be headed by Steven Moffat, who will be writing 6 episodes.

Other writers rumored, include Gareth Roberts (Planet Of The Dead, The Unicorn & The Wasp), Mark Gatiss, Richard Curtis, Philip Pullman (His Dark Materials) & possibly comedy writers Simon Nye and David Renwick. Again, they are all rumored to be involved in the writing process.

Of course, confirmation would be nice… and inevitable!

In the meantime, Here’s a Doctor Who Series 5 Preview from BBC One. Cinema Static on SoB has been waiting for a Doctor Who promo for quite some time! It’s about time!

So does this Doctor Who trailer wind you up or keep you sober?  It seems interesting.
