A Review of Jeffrey’s Hamburgers in Menlo Park [Consumer]

Jeffreys HamburgersThe other day I had the opportunity to hit up Jeffrey’s Hamburgers in Menlo Park, CA.

I don’t go there that often, it’s pretty pricey.  And it’s pricey considering once they deliver the ordered food, you do the condiment work!  But I digress, let me describe my visit.

I get there and I wasn’t sure what I wanted, but I snagged myself a double cheese burger, onion rings and a soda.  They gave me a number.

It came to around $15.  Wow!  Fifteen bucks and I have to do all my own work on it?  So I grumbled this to myself while I waited for dinner to arrive.

Then my order arrived.  They deliver the order to your table by locating your table number, so keep it in plain view.

Sure, the onion rings were only 4 in count.  I ordered the small onion rings.  But they were sizable, so I had no real issue with the onion rings.  The double cheese burger was another matter all together.

After I added my condiments, I had a heck of a time trying to eat the thing.  It was huge and it was awesome juicy.  It may actually qualify as one of the best burgers I think I may have ever had.  Hands down.  It was a two fisted burger and it was a fun experience trying to eat it.

The atmosphere is an open diner feel from the 50’s.  I’m not a fan, but once you get your burger, you sort of forget about it.  Something of note:  They grind their own hamburgers daily.

I’m fairly price-based on how I approach my eating spots, but this really caught my eye and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you ever drop by.  I’d say tell them Bruce sent you… but they have no clue who I am, so nah.  It just felt fun to say it.

This review was a non-endorsed, non-paid review.  I just liked it that much that I had to say something!
