It’s sweet news indeed for the consumate Alan Tudyk (Firefly, Dollhouse) fan to learn that The Wrap is reporting that Alan Tudyk has joined the cast of Transformers 3.

I think for most, Alan has been on many people’s radar since Whedon’s Firefly, but it wasn’t until we watched him work on different TV series and movies that we came to understand the true breadth of his talent.

As far as I’m concerned, he’s on par with Alex O’Loughlin, and that’s saying a lot, coming from me.  …Or maybe Alex is on par with Alan…  either way, you get where I’m going with this.  Fans of either should check out the other.

For now there are no details for Alan Tudyk’s role in Transformers 3.  But to be honest, in time, we’ll figure it out.

I have no idea who Alan Tudyk is, but I adore Alex O’Loughlin!

Hey Michael, Tudyk was Alpha in Dollhouse… he was the pilot, “wash,” in Joss Whedon’s Firefly. He’s been in “V” and the indie film Dale and Tucker vs. Evil. He’s been in a bunch of other things, but those are the first things that come to mind.
