Alan Tudyk Leaves First Platoon

Reports on the street are that Alan Tudyk is out of the lead role of the movie project titled First Platton. In his place, Scott Gibson will be playing the character of Rock Brannigan.
Keep in mind that Alan is said to have 3 projects in production and voice work coming up, so this is not implying unemployment, but rather, a full plate! And that’s always good news for Alan Tudyk fans!
He has the following movies in the pipe at various stages:
- Conception,
- Beautiful Boy &
- Transformers 3.
While another rumor is that he’ll be voicing Oliver Queen/Green Arrow for an animated TV series titled Young Justice.
About First Platoon
First Platoon is a zombie comedy film that is written and directed by Chris Gabriel (Silent Night, Zombie Night). Rock Brannigan is the leader of a motley team of zombie fighters in the post-apocalyptic desert in the southwest.
Other cast includes
- Arron Shiver,
- Jennifer Skyler,
- John Kassir
- Malcolm McDowell and
- Sid Haig.
The planned opening date for First Platoon is February 3rd, 2011.
