First Toy Spotted! That’s right, Jeffrey Gouse from Examiner.com has reported that he’s seen the first Hasbro toy for Michael Bay‘s newest Autobot movie, Transformers 3, Dark of the Moon. Mr. Gouse spotted the swag in his local Toys R Us and it was Optimus Prime in the “Cyberverse-class” toy line.
Optimus was actually released by Hasbro on March 15th and is part of a “Cyber Sweeps” promotion from Hasbro for Transformers 3.
He spotted the $10 toy and observed that it is a level 1 conversion rating, where Optimus transforms into a big rig. He also noted that the leading main-man of the Autobots comes with what looks like a plain pair of snap-on wings. (Remember, we spotted Optimus flying in an earlier movie trailer?)
Ah, but the entertaining gimmick is that the toy comes with 3D glasses and they can be used on the Hasbro Transformers website to view 3D images of the movie characters. There’s a new one each week, in 3D, so you can keep going back!
