'Iron Man 3' newsAccording to a report from Reelz, who was reporting off of Want China Times, Andy Lau will not be joining the cast of Iron Man 3.

Lau’s reasoning for bowing out of Iron Man 3 is so he can be with his wife and new baby girl. (That’s nice)

But what this now means is that the production is going to start looking for a male actor over 40 to portray the role of a Chinese businessman and friend to Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.).

I’m sure we’ll be hearing some new news on this role soon.

Right now the movie is in production and aside from Downey Jr., also stars Jon Favreau, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle reprising their roles from the 2nd movie. New cast of characters will be played by Guy Pearce, James Badge Dale, Ben Kingsley and more.

Iron Man 3 has May 3, 2013 release date set.
