I wouldn’t worry about Bane… Nolan loves to make the characters as real-world as possible so I’m sure he’ll come up with something down-to-earth and brilliant. Hi Mike!!

I am grinning ear-to-ear on the addition of Tom Hardy. That they’ll have him playing Bane? Hmm? I’m hoping (and pretty sure) that they can take the farce of the only on-screen showcase of Bane in the terrible previous Batman film and turn that into something good on screen with Nolan at the wheel.

Otherwise, I have to wonder what legacy will be left with Nolan sadly bowing out of Batmandom. Another great note however. Nolan has always had a very strong overtone of “daddyness” inside of his films, and Bane is no exception. Let’s hope that becomes a foundation for him to build something special as he leaves a franchise that I think still has legs.
