Atlanta where Edwards Started Being a Driving Vigilante

(Yes, I know that’s not Brad in the pic, but hey, there are so many hot-headed moments to choose from, what the heck!)  Heading to Altanta, where Brad Keselowski paid for his indescretinous accident of slipping up into Carl Edwards during the March 7th race, is where it will seem that all eyes will be on Edwards again.

Despite Carl Edwards thinking he’s continually had good reason to wreck Brad, I have to say, that the more popularized events between these two continue to stem for an over reactionary Edwards.  Or a man on a vigilante crusade against a competitor who continually gets the best of him.  (Hint, nudge… take a look at the Nationwide points standings.)

Sure, back in 2009 at Talladega, Edwards went flipping through the air off of Keselowski’s nose.  But Carl came down on Brad first.  Brad merely stood his ground.  But of course, the flip was Brad’s fault.  Right Carl?

More recently, the Gateway incident where Brad moved the slower Carl out of the way to pass him, but then Carl gets to him and wrecks Brad intentionally, taking out several other cars in the process.

Edwards has an issue and it’s one that has lost my state of being his fan, more than likely, forever.

At Atlanta, if retribution were quick, sure, it’s an emotional, heat of the moment thing.  But waiting for 1/2 a race to get back out there to ONLY wreck Brad is bullshit.  “Letting the boys have at it” is one thing, but to watch such petty retribution go with no serious punishment is something else.

When Carl wrecked Brad and the other teams at Gateway, again, we could see the voilent jerking of the steering wheel to spin out Brad.  It wasn’t as if he couldn’t avoid it.  Carl could have, but then, later declared publicly he wasn’t going to have the win taken away from him.

Hey Carl?  How many times have you passed people on the track by nudging them up out of the way?  Yea, OK, just wondering there big guy.  (Great, now I have to keep an eye on my rear view mirror, won’t I?)  He claims he has no shame for his misdeeds because he stands up and takes responsibility for his actions.  So what, because you do wrong, repeatedly, that sitting in a confessional makes it right?  Give me a break.  So every time Brad taps Carl, Carl will destroy his car.  LOL… we know lots of children like that, don’t we folks?

Carl says that this weekend at Atlanta, he’s going to race hard and be the best person he can be.  Don’t worry Carl, that should not be too hard, considering how low you’ve stooped to becoming a driving vigilante on the track.
