Jamie McMurray is having one heck of a week. after touring about the country on his Daytona 500 win, he’s now nabbed the pole for the Auto Club 500! Go figure! He shares the front row with Juan Montoya.
California is one of Jimmie Johnson’s favorite tracks and he qualified 7th, but other Hendricks cars didn’t qualify as well. Jeff Gordon qualified on the outside of row 14, in 28th… sharing the row with Dale Earnhardt Jr.. I am looking with a concerned eye towards where Dale Jr. qualified.
Ryan Newman qualified on the outside of row 9, in 18th.
