Avengers Age of Ultron by James Spader

Avengers: Age of Ultron brings more of the fantastic group dynamics and well balanced action and story that Joss Whedon is known for, and this film will for sure set some records for sure.

It is WELL WORTH the bucks to spend a few hours escaping life, kicking back in a movie theater and enjoying this extremely entertaining popcorn ride!

All the ‘first’ Marvel movies that bring to life our favorite characters for the first time in a movie, or origin pieces, bring a certain amount of wonderment to our lives as we watch on the silver what, for years, we’ve had only our imaginations to enjoy off the pages of a comic book.

So those first moments or movies touch a certain level of awesome.

Hence when we see a sequel like Avengers: Age of Ultron, some of that shiny, new charm won’t be there. But that’s OK because there are all kinds of character back stories that weren’t covered in the first Avengers movie… I mean, they were kind of busy fighting off an alien invasion and all.

That and there’s plenty of fun action and the sublime delivery of Ultron by James Spader was pure fun.

The humor we have come to expect from Whedon/Marvel is there as always, though it may be a touch more than usual. But since the comedic timing is usually spot on, it’s fine.

I saw the movie in 2D and the action at times does get pretty busy and blurry. There’s a lot going on at times. And if you’ve dodged all the clips that give some surprises up, you will love the surprises and moments that come from out of nowhere.

(OK how weird is it that Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays siblings in this movie, when they played husband and wife in Godzilla a few years ago?)

Bottom line is that no matter the flaws noted, many may not consider them flaws and any money spent seeing it in the theaters will be well spent.

OH, and there is ONLY ONE post credits bonus scene and they don’t keep you waiting too long

I’d slap a popcorn 8 on this fun flick.
