I didn’t realize that you can supply yourself with used textbooks for the upcoming school semester through Amazon? They actually offer used textbooks, and at a discount of up to 90% off the cover price.
It’s obviously a crap shoot when you’re buying online, sight unseen, but sometimes one has to do that they need to, to save the bucks. Yet for me, I’ve yet to have a bad experience buying anything through Amazon.
If you do look to buy used textbooks via Amazon, Amazon teases you with offers like becoming a member of the ‘Amazon Student’ club and you get free two-day shipping by joining.* (*At the time of this writing.)
Can it hurt to look? You never know if you might find exactly what you’re looking for and be surprised by the end result. All I suggest is that if you go this route, pay attention to the vendor ratings/reviews. Get a feel for what folks have said in the past about them before taking the plunge and go from there.
I hope this helps out. I’d love to hear from any readers who partake. Come back and leave us your experience in the comments section!
