'Breaking Bad' season 5 preview image

AMC today announced that the 2nd part of the fifth season of Breaking Bad will be returning on Sunday, August 11th.

The Sony Pictures Television produced show will be headed into its final eight episodes of the series, closing down the tale of Walter White, chemist turned drug dealer.

What started out as a hopeful hobby for Walter White of selling drugs to put together a nest egg for his family, (He was diagnosed with cancer), one thing leads to another and suddenly, the milk toast chemistry teacher’s journey leads him to being a mass murdering, dangerous drug dealer.  Public enemy number one.

Yes! See my article on Why Walter White is a Mass Murderer!

What a journey this show has taken the viewers on!  And through it all, this series has done something not too many shows has done… that’s take the lead character and have him evolve through the seasons, into something completely different.

The stories are engaging, characters very likable and they somehow manage to make the desert look like a beautiful place to be.  (AKA, beautiful cinematography.)
