Some fan-favorites actors are landing some new roles of late.  NCIS‘s Mark Harmon, BSG‘s Tricia Helfer & Cary Elwes have all landed some great, upcoming roles!

Mark Harmon

First up is Mark Harmon, has been cast in a TV movie on USA Network, based on the book, Certain Prey, by John Sandford.  Production starts in May and aside from starring, Mr. Harmon will also be one of the executive producers.

In Certain Prey, Deputy Police Chief Lucas Davenport goes up against a hit woman and a killer who is hunting him down.

This will be great to see Mark Harmon outside his iconic  role of NCIS as Special Agent Gibbs.  Weird maybe, but great.

Tricia Helfer

It’s almost a BSG reunion going on with the Ronald D. Moore fantasy police series called 17th Precinct.  Latest news on the street is that Tricia Helfer has joined the cast of the NBC series, also joining BSG alumni Jamie Bamber.  But get this, James Callis has also landed a role on the series….  and the odd actor out is Stockard Channing!  Maybe I should look to see if she did a guest stint on BSG. Cary Elwes

David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman series has added Cary Elwes to the cast.  The lucky guy will be playing Henry Detmer, who is the CEO of the company that Diana Prince (aka Wonder Woman) works at.  Diana Prince has been cast with Adrienne Pallicki and Elizabeth Hurley has been cast as the villain of the series.

I like Elwes a lot…
