CBS-Network-logo 200wCBS announced today their schedule for their 2012-2013 Fall TV season schedule. It looks like CBS will be hitting the floor running and having all their series premieres take place in September!

Items of note for the 2012-2013 TV season are things like 60 Minutes 45th season, The Amazing Race 21st edition, the 13th season of CSI, and NCIS‘s 10th season on the air. Let’s not forget the 25th edition of Survivor, where human nature is pushed to its limits and the depth of back-stabbing is explored on a weekly basis, in exotic locations!

What shows am I looking forward to?

Hawaii Five-0, NCIS, Criminal Minds, & CSI. I’d love to catch more of Person of Interest, but since they’ve throttled their VoD presence to nada, I’ve only caught one or two episodes online at CBS. (When I last checked, that is.)

By proxy of marriage, I will be exposed to The Amazing Race & Survivor.

In this batch of season premieres are new shows like Partners, Vegas, Elementary and Made in Jersey. I might try to catch Elementary… a modern day take on Sherlock Holmes. If it shows up on my VoD.

I was looking into that very aspect and it seems that (at least on my end) Comcast has no control over the delays or restrictions put upon the playback of some shows. For me, I was looking for SONS OF ANARCHY and why there’s a 7-day delay to VoD, and Comcast said that FX was the source of the delay. So my guess is either the networks or production companies restrict the replay modes of certain shows.

I watch my shows on On Demand because I go to sleep early. Last year Criminal minds, Person of interest, and unforgetable, were not on there. I hope
to see them (what happened to unforgetable?) there this year with NCIS, NCIS LA, and Hawaii five 0. I tried watching on my computer, but it did not work so well. Any one know why some shows are on On demand, and others are not? I see unforgetable will be back. Yes.

Gang, I see no set date/time for when UNFORGETTABLE is returning, but I’d guess/expect a mid-season premiere.

Even though I cant do anything about it but rant, I hate when a show that I like gets cancelled for low ratings ie; NYC22 .. Thats all thanks for letting me vent 🙂

Gloria, I double checked and yes, the show was uncancelled. BUT… a lot of the cast is not coming back with UNFORGETTABLE. The primary core of cast members will be, so be prepared.

Gloria, UNFORGETTABLE was originally cancelled, but I believe they’ve changed their mind, but I’m not sure when they’ll air the second season.

CSI: MIAMI has been cancelled James.

Kari: A GIFTED MAN has been cancelled. Sorry about the bad news guys.

In my sidebar, underneath the Amazon ad, there are some links, one of them is for the list of cancelled TV series.

Pollyanna, I seriously doubt that Eureka would go to another network. It’s rare when that happens. DON’T get me wrong… I’d love to see it continue… but I’m not holding my breath. But hey, I’d be happy to be wrong! -Bruce

My husband and I have enjoyed Euraka from the 1st season and now we are not sure if it is going to be picked up by a different network or not. It will be a shame if it is not. We look forward each week knowing that Euraka will be coming on. We want to know if the series is going to another network or not.
