Today is actor Clifton Collins Jr. birthday! Yo, Happy B-Day dude!
Back in July of 2009, I first met Clifton and I really enjoyed my time with him. If I dare hear anyone saying “Who?,” let me point out a few movies you’ve seen him in.
I am sure you’ve seen Clifton in a movie and just didn’t realize it. He’s been in a myriad of projects from A.J. Abrams’ Star Trek where he played Ayel, Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day as Romeo, and a slew of other films. 44 to be exact, with 2 more coming at us, Freeloaders and The FP.
We’ve also seen him in some TV series over the years: Thief, as Jack “Bump” Hill, and guest spots on The Shield, Fear Itself and Southland. Just from his filmography alone, he seems to be the busy man.
Last year, for his birthday, he won himself “The Best Breakthrough Video of the Year” at the 2009 CMT Music Awards for a Zac Brown Band music video he put together.
Here’s Clifton’s latest music video work for Jamey Johnson called High Cost of Living, directed by Clifton. The song has two Grammy nominations:
