Below are my Comic Con panel terse recaps for Torchwood, Eureka, Warehouse 13 & True Blood.

Torchwood
In the Torchwood panel at Comic Con, the panel consisted of John Barrowman, Eve Myles, Mekhi Phifer, Bill Pullman, Alexa Havins and writer Jane Espenson.
The panel had a bunch of levity and was a nice experience of laughter. But to look at the specific points made in the panel about the show:
Espenson said things will be getting darker as the Torchwood: Miracle Day progresses.
Espenson wants the fans to really embrace the theme of this season and look at the bigger picture of the effects from Miracle Day.
No word on renewal yet.

Eureka
The Comic Con Eureka panel guests included cast members Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Neil Grayston and Felicia Day. Also on-panle were executive producers Jamie Paglia and Bruce Miller. The panel was moderated by Wil Wheaton.
They chatted about Eureka‘s new space program, a love triangle and the animated Christmas special coming up.
Here, they chatted about things like how Day found it easy to fit into the cast.
Salli Richardson-Whitfield will be directing the episode titled “Omega Girls.”
And this year’s Christmas episode will be an animated ‘sode, with multiple styles of animation.
Other than that, it was just a fun experience…especially when the entire audience sang happy birthday to Colin Ferguson. (Yes, they said it was his birthday.)
Oh, on that love-triangle? There will be some tension between Dr. Holly Martin (Day), Dr. Parrish (Wheaton) and Fargo (Grayston).

Warehouse 13
The Warehouse 13 panel had cast members Allison Scagliotti, Saul Rubinek, Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly. Exec producer Jack Kenny was also on hand.
There was a lot of chat about Aaron Ashmore joining the cast and that Ashmore’s and Scagliotti’s characters will be developing a complex relationship.
This 3rd season will be about Myka working her way back into the team.
Upcoming episodes will each have a different tone.
This year’s Christmas episode will have a ton of Easter eggs for fans to keep an eye out for.
This is not new news, but there’s an idea for a Warehouse 13 spinoff, that the E.P. called Warehouse 12, in the works that would have HG Wells as the central figure. It looks promising, but nothing in concrete yet!
Kate Mulgrew will be in a 4-ep story arc.

True Blood
As the day wore down, there were tired folks in the crowd, but buzzing with energy, all thoughts of exhaustion were staved off with the energy of anticipation. The True Blood panel was coming up. This is why some folks got in line at 6am and endured the entire day for.
The True Blood panel included Nelsan Ellis, Alexander Skarsgard, Stephen Moyer, Alan Ball, Kristen Bauer van Straten, Rutina Wesley, Kevin Alejandro, Anna Paquin and Ryan Kwanten.
There were hints, that maybe, like in the books, there will be a shower scene with Eric and Sookie.
Arlene’s baby is going to have something creepy coming up. (But that seemed in contrast with other things I’ve heard…)
Fans will be seeing ghosts or something like ghosts soon.
Someone asked if Bill and Sookie might be getting back together. Paquin answered that that would be a complicated road to travel.
There were some notes for the upcoming season 5, but I was more focused on now… this season. Sorry, but too many things can change so I wasn’t too focused on that. (I was scribbling notes and missed some of the teasers.)

AND that was my Friday at Comic Con! Sitting alllll day long, surviving on rations, paying people to watch my stuff for my bathroom breaks… then bolting for my ride home! I still have lots of notes to go and I’m trying to get them out as fast as I can before they become moot!!! It’s exhausting just trying to get it all out there! LOL. And to think, I still have hundreds of Comic Con pics to sort through and publish!
