I’m confused by the latest swath of articles based on the latest news from director Michael Bay on Spoilers from Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon.

I’m confused because I’ve seen some of these Transformers 3 bits somewhere else more than a month or two ago!  But I can’t seem to find the first source.  Maybe Mr. Bay is just reiterating and everyone forgot he said most of these things already!

Here are the Transformers 3 SPOILERS anyhow:
The Apollo 11 ‘incident’ shown in the teaser is a big government secret. (old)

There will be no dorky humor (“We wanted to make the movie much more serious, more adult.”) (old)

The robots will be given more ‘weight’ in the story (“They were missed in movie two. We’ve given them a strong back-story and pathos.”) (old)

When a robot dies, it will actually die. And that death will be seen onscreen.  We’re not bringing people back. (old)

Starscream and Shockwave will have new companions.  “The scale on one of them is jaw dropping” – “It will be, what the Hell was that thing?”

Sentinel Prime is “A big brother and mentor to Optimus Prime.”

There will be no army. Chicago is left in the hands of the Autobots (but some heroes sneak in through the back-door so to speak.)

The human gliders are used because they slip under the Decepticons’ radar – as do humans – so they’ll be the people who can hammer it to the ‘Cons and create an opening for the Autobots.

The Ferrari is a Decepticon nicknamed ‘Dreadbox.’

There will be no sand.
Here’s a first look at Optimus Prime’s mentor, Sentinel Prime:

Looks cool. And I hear Leonard Nimoy is voicing him. I thought he was retired? Anyway, I love the animated movie when Leonard voiced the evil Galvatron. I look forward to hearing him voice an Autobot this time.
