Coming up this Friday, April 2nd through April 4th is WonderCon 2010.

WonderCon will be held at the Moscone Center South, in San Francisco, CA.  Nearly in my back yard and walking distance from the train, you can count me in!

I’ll be there all day, all night having some fun!  I may not be posting during the weekend because I’ll be running around like a head with its chicken cut off, but I’ll see what  I can do.  (I’ll probably be tweeting live at times!)

WonderCon 2010 in San Francisco

Aside from the many comic and mange panels around the ‘Con, the following are some of the items that caught my attention from the WonderCon 2010 event:

Friday, April 2 Panels and Screenings:

  • Richard Hatch will be leading a panel titled Battlestar, Caprica and Beyond.  (I wonder if they’ll touch on the BSG / Caprica spin-off?)
  • There will be a Book of Eli panel, from script to screen.
  • There will be a panel talking about the new Jurassic Park comic.
  • A screening of ABC’s V.
  • Michael Chiklis will be talking about his new comic title.
  • Upcoming episodes of Fringe & Human Target will be screened for attendees.
  • Halo 8‘s illustrated film, “Godkiller” panel.
  • A Kevin Smith appearance.  (Now that he’s generated some entertaining publicity of late, I bet his appearance has a bit more interest being generated now.)

Saturday, April 3 Panels and Screenings:

  • Aspen Comics
  • Screening of ABC’s Happy Town.
  • Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time panel with Jerry Bruckheimer & Jake Gyllenhaal.
  • The Sorcerer’s Apprentice with Jerry Bruckheimer & Nicolas Cage.
  • Toy Story 3 panel.
  • Resident Evil: Afterlife screening.
  • Activision’s New Game, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.
  • Inside Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
  • Cast and creators of Kick Ass.
  • U.S. First look screening of Doctor Who, starring Matt Smith.
  • 6th Annual WonderCon masquerade.

Sunday, April 4 Panels and Screenings:

  • A Marvel panel on all things Wolverine, Deadpool, Black Panther & ‘stuff.’
  • Emily The Strange panel.
  • Human Target episode screening.
  • Buffy the Musical.

Here’s the link to the full schedule at WonderCon 2010.  All this, and I have to be home to catch the return of Stargate Universe?  Ack, I’m already exhausted!
