Emilie Ullerup
Emilie Ullerup is teasing us with her Facebook account. She’s posted just hours ago that she’s back in sci fi, and that it’s not Sanctuary but she is working with a familiar face. Hmm… a puzzle! Commentors on the post are asking what show? It could be a movie project also.
Under IMDb, I see the movie Paradox and Hunt to Kill. But her Facebook posts were done just hours before I wrote this, so I’m not sure if it is either one of these movies. But heck, let’s look at them!
Paradox
Hmm, maybe there is a familiar face in this cast.
Emilie Ullerup is in a cast where Kevin Sorbo (Bitch Slap) stars, along with Steph Song (War, jPod, Achar!) and Christopher Judge (Stargate). All great actors from different shows that I’ve enjoyed.
Kevin Sorbo in Paradox
The outline on IMDb describes the movie as:
Homicide detective Sean Nault (Kevin Sorbo), a cop on a parallel Earth whose technology is powered exclusively by magic. Sean investigates a baffling series of murders committed by a means he’s never seen before: science. So there’s one movie possibility she’s referring to. (CLUE?) Plus Emilie used to work with Steph Song on the TV series jPod.

Hunt to Kill
There are familiar faces in this movie project. We have Eric Roberts, Steve Austin, Gil Bellows and Michael Hogan from Battlestar Galactica! There’s that other potential familiar face.
Hunt to Kill is noted as an action flick and there’s no outline. Fascinating. This is noted as an action flick, (A Did You Know Moment:) but Emilie has been on Battlestar Galactica in 2 episodes as the character Julia Brynn. Would that quantify Michael Hogan as an old friend?

She’s worked with cast members from both movies… Hunt to Kill isn’t sci fi but the newest movie. Paradox is due out sometime in 2010. (I believe in Canada) There’s no release date for Hunt to Kill yet. (That I can find.) Your guess, is as good as mine! I’m leaning towards the idea that she is just now teasing or chatting about Paradox. It’s possible I’ve taken her too literally.
I say Paradox is what Emilie Ullerup is referring to when she says she’s back in Sci Fi and working with an old friend!

I don’t believe she means either of the movies. They were already announced months ago, so it wouldn’t be big news to us.
She may be referring to Riese though. The webseries has been picked up by Syfy and Emilie played Aliza in the webseries, so there’s a possibility she will be back as Aliza when the series will air on tv.
I already gave up on Sanctuary for quite some time now, so the way I see it, right now Riese gets my vote to what Emilie means by being back on SciFi.

That’s a good point. yes both were old news but it’s all I had to work with! I had not considered the RIESE angle, where Syfy was considering picking up the option (http://tinyurl.com/23chypc)… hmm. Good call Badinfluence!
Emilie is great actress and I believe that I will see her more.
If not in Sanctuary then in other show like Riese !
