Emilie Ullerup movie news!

Upfront, a shout out to Tim for the lead on the Hallmark movie… and of course, as I was doing some research, I saw a few more upcoming projects for Emilie Ullerup, so I went with it and here’s what new projects you can catch Ms. Ullerup in!

The Hallmark Channel is throwing into the mix of music-based TV entertainment  with the TV movie called The Music Teacher and it stars Annie Potts.  In The Music Teacher, the movie is about

“Alyson Daley (Potts), a high school music teacher who is on the brink of losing her beloved school music program because of district budget cuts. In an effort to spare the program, Daley’s former students band together to stage a musical to raise money to keep the program alive.”

Additional cast includes Shawn Roberts, Emelie Ullerup and Moneca Delain, just to name a few.

BUT… There’s more:

Emilie Ullerup in Witchslayer Gretl on Syfy

Of course I’m sure you caught Emilie in Witchslayer Gretl that showed up on the Syfy channel, right?

Or maybe some lucky folk caught the Canadian TV series Artic Air?  (If any reader saw Artic Air and is an Emilie fan, let us know how she did!)

But I noticed that Emilie Ullerup has other, upcoming projects that you can keep your eyes open for.

The Philadelphia Experiment

The Philadelphia Experiment is noted as being in post-production as I scribble this info.  It’s a Rainbow Pictures production and will be airing on the Syfy channel sometime this year.

In The Philadelphia Experiment,

“A secret government research project tries reviving the World War II “Philadelphia Experiment,” which was an attempt to create a cloaking device to render warships invisible. When the experiment succeeds, it brings back the original ship (the Eldridge) that disappeared during the first test in 1943 – which brings death and destruction to the 21st century. It’s up to the sole survivor (Lea) of the first experiment and his granddaughter (Ullerup) to stop it.”

It stars Nicholas Lea (Men in Trees, Kyle XY, V), and a few timeless actors…  Malcolm McDowell and Michael Paré… which is quirky since Michael was in the 1984 movie of the same title.  We’ll see if his character’s name in this movie is the same, David Herdeg.

This movie reunites Ullerup with Sanctuary‘s Ryan Robbins also.  Gina Holden also stars.

It’s directed by Paul Ziller and produced by John Prince, who have both worked together in past super-B TV movie hits like Snowmageddon, Iron Invader, Collision Earth, Stonehenge Apocalypse and other instant “classics.”

Death Do Us Part

'Death Do Us Part' - Peter Benson as Ryan Harris and Julia Benson as Kennedy Jamieson

Another, what I suspect, TV movie, is called Death Do Us Part… where Emilie is cast alongside Stargate Universe‘s Julia Benson, Peter Benson (The Killing), Christine Chatelain (Riese, White Collar Poet) and…

This is also an Aaron Douglas TV appearance alert!!!

It’s directed by Nicholas Humphries (Riese: Kingdom Falling).

It’s a horror movie about a couple who has a Jack & Jill bachelor party thrown for them out in a cabin… in the woods, and as the party starts, so do, to the killings!

To be honest, I’m hoping this comes to Syfy… but I guess we’ll just keep our eyes peeled and see where it lands.

=

The moral of this story is that Emilie Ullerup is starting to get more and more parts in different venues as time goes on… so even though fans may have been disappointed in her outing from Sanctuary, if you think about it, it looks like that might have been a good thing for her long-term career goals, and fans get a chance to see her in many other movie projects.
