According to early reports, Carrie Prejean and the Miss California organization settled out of court in the multitude of lawsuits flying through the air like tennis balls in a tournament!
I didn’t think much of it. I wasn’t very supportive of supposedly where Prejean stood on issues or how it seemed she handled herself via various interactions contesting her situation.
It seemed she’d say one thing then later on have to retract or dance around it. I particularly was amused about the topless pictures that didn’t exist. But then when we knew about then, it seemed the wind did it! Though garments in the pictures seemed to be hanging straight down. It must have been a top down wind.
Eh, no matter. We all make the bed we sleep in.
I figured the settlement would end it all and she made out with whatever she made out with. That is until TMZ broke the details saying that the settlement involved her dropping her $1 million demand when during the settlement talks, the defense showed an “x-rated” vid of Prejean. Oops. So much for not being topless?
Maybe now she’s done with all this and will move on. We have.
