ABC's FLASHFORWARD

The mid-season break is coming to a close and FlashForward is returning on March 18th with the double-sized episode of “Revelation Zero.”  During this ‘break’, a lot has happened on the sets of FlashForward.

The show’s production was halted for revamping, it had it’s season cut by one episode, (As did ‘V‘), showrunner David Goyer left, then they later added 3 new showrunners.  Added isn’t the correct word.  More liked looked inside the office to promote from within.  They “promoted head writers Lisa Zwerling, Tim Lea & executive producer Jessika Borsiczky to the status of showrunner.

That’s nuts folks!  Obviously when a show has that much flux, something is amiss, or the ratings aren’t up to snuff, and that’s the case here.  The ratings for FlashForward tallied up to something like 2.1 for adults in the 18-49 category, which is one of the all important spending categories of the population.

I have to wonder if they’re rethinking their hopes to get 3 to 5 seasons out of a show that will resolve this season’s mystery by the end of the season?  It ain’t Lost folks.  That’s worn it’s welcome out in recent years, though they are starting to actually answer more questions this year… finally.

The upcoming March 18th episode of FlashForward is titled “Revelation Zero” and is a 2-parter, both of which will be airing this night.

Here is the episode pre-cap, or description from the ABC press release:

“Revelation Zero,” Parts 1 & 2 – Mark is suspended from duty at the FBI and must meet with a Bureau-appointed therapist in order to regain his badge; Demetri reluctantly teams with CIA agent Vogel to continue the search for Lloyd, while a suspended Mark resumes his own investigation into his disappearance; with Lloyd missing, Simon attempts to hack into his computer in search of clues; Janis is assigned to accompany Simon and learns some family secrets about him; and Nicole speaks with a man who was transformed during the blackout in order to help her restore her faith and understand her horrific flashforward vision, on the return of “FlashForward,” THURSDAY, MARCH 18 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“FlashForward” stars Joseph Fiennes as Mark Benford, John Cho as Demetri Noh, Jack Davenport as Lloyd Simcoe, Zachary Knighton as Bryce Varley, Peyton List as Nicole Kirby, Dominic Monaghan as Simon, Br’an F. O’Byrne as Aaron Stark, Courtney B. Vance as Stanford Wedeck, Sonya Walger as Olivia Benford and Christine Woods as Janis Hawk.
