Zach Gilford, who plays Matt Carcen on Friday Night Lights, has landed a role on ABC’s medical drama called Off the Map.
He’s replacing an actor that left the cast, but he’s not taking over the character that the actor vacated, he’s playing a different role. Gilford will play a doctor by the name of Tommy, where he works at a medical clinic in South America.
Off The Map is a mid-season show and will be produced by Shonda Rhimes. The cast includes Jason George, Martin Henderson, Valerie Cruz & Rachelle Lefevre.
