Today we were treated to the first preview of Robert Rodriguez created, Nimród Antal’s directed Predators and I’m geeking out to finally get something about the film from the production company.

In the 2 minute sneak peek movie preview, Rodriguez talks about how in making Predators, he didn’t want to compete with Arnold Schwarzenegger… so he wanted to go in a different or unexpected direction with this project.
Almost 63% of all homes have pets. Predators would seem to be no exception!
I’m looking forward to Nimród Antal’s Predators from Robert Rodriguez, with Topher Grace, Adrien Brody, Danny Trejo, Laurence Fishburne, Walton Goggins and more victims… I mean actors.

It looks to be what could amount to a great addition to the Predator franchise, but of course, that remains to be seen on July 9th. (There’s a better version over on the movie website: Predators Movie, where your cursor becomes a Predator targeting light! )
Predators is due out July 9th, 2010. (That seriously needs to say Predators ‘are’ due out… but Predators is singular in the reference to the movie. Now my brain hurts… great!)
