As you all may or may not know, Guardians of the Galaxy became the surprise popular hit at the theaters… even for me. When I first heard of the movie I just did not care. But after seeing it, I was impressed and in my take on the movie, I called it “this generation’s Star Wars.” And it having made over $600M worldwide, pretty much says the rest.
So if you saw it and loved it or were going to wait to see it by snagging the home entertainment version of it, you’re in a bit of luck.
Guardians of the Galaxy will be hitting store shelves on December 9th.
The Blu-ray of the movie will include some of the usual extra content that decent home entertainment releases usually contain:
- Deleted Scenes,
- “The Making Of,”
- A gag reel (that’s never long enough),
- Audio Commentary
And one more thing that might help the sales numbers along nicely…
They call it an “Exclusive look at The Avengers Age of Ultron.”
That should be pretty cool.
If you like, you can preorder it by clicking on the Blu-ray art here:
Guardians of the Galaxy cast includes Chris Pratt, a green-skinned Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, a wooden character voiced by Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper voicing an angry mutant racoon, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close and Benicio del Toro.
It has become the highest-grossing domestic film of the year.
(And yes, writing this reminded me to order it, so I have my pre-order set!)
