DR HORRIBLEs SING ALONG BLOG from JOSS WHEDON

Yea, don’t be fooled by the title…  I wanted to make sure you came into this article eyes wide open, unlike most of my peers out there have titled their reports!

Recently, Neil Patrick Harris dropped in an MTV interview that the Doctor Horrible sequel from Joss Whedon, et al, may very well become a feature-length film.

This is what was really said in the interview:

“Apparently they’re making a ‘Dr. Horrible’ sequel — a feature film, I hope,” laughed Harris. “I hope they cast me in it — we’ll see.”

“That’s their plan,” he reiterated when asked whether a feature-film was indeed the preferred format for the sequel. “I don’t know of what scale. They’re talking all options, because they made the first ‘Dr. Horrible’ in five days on no budget at all — that was its intention.”

I think it would be interesting if Joss Whedon veered from the venue that made Doctor Horrible what it is today and Dr. Horrible may not be the same as a feature film.

As it stands, that ~40 minute internet series packed more story than most 2-hour movies do.

As it stands, Harris is saying he’s guessing at these ideas about Doctor Horrible., yet everyone is running around like chickens in a hen-pen with a fox outside, drumming it up.  Sure… it would be nice.  But heck, how many Captain America casting stories have we seen out there of late?  Yea, I’m just saying.  In the meantime, the Hollywood police are saying “Keep moving along.  There’s nothing to see here!
