Brusimm Website Initial LogoToday, Monday, 8-27,  there are headlines for

-A teaser asking who Kalon is targeting in The Bachelor Pad;

-HBO’s Newsroom hit their all-time ratings high with last night’s season  finale.  This is one smart show where they pull off social statements that glaringly slap establishment square between the eyes.  I love it!

-True Blood kept me wondering why Eric, whose older and faster than Bill, didn’t stop his ass before doing what he did?  And why would Eric tell a human to run from a vampire, who can run at the speed of blur?  And Pam has been looking exceptionally hot these last few episodes.

-Abby Elliott is headed to How I Met Your Mother.

-Coby Smulders is on the hook to join the cast of Starbuck. (What ever that is… maybe it’s a coffee movie!)  It would seem to be the lead role.

-Miley Cyrus to ruin, I mean guest star on Two and Half Men;  Apparently it will be a recurring role.

-I guess the director of the RoboCop reboot is fighting to get his own ideas in the reboot.  (But the title is formed in a question, so it could be a bait title.)  I’ve also seen where someone who had bashed the Total Recall remake, apologized for doing so, after seeing details  of the script from this remake.  Hey, it’s a remake.

-Matt Smith and Karen Gillan (The girl leaving the show) are pitching why or how they think Doctor Who will make the Daleks scary again.  Were they ever?  They’re trash cans with ray guns!

-Howard Stern called Jay Leno a Spineless Maggot and NBC is pissed, threatening the most popular judge on the show.  Howard says, “So?”  He should not have called Jay a maggot.

-Josh Holloway is looking to join the cast of Breacher.

-There’s a Doctor Who web spinoff called Pond Life.

-Vera Farmiga will play Norma Bates in the Psycho prequel, Bates Motel, from A&E.

-Syfy is picking up another Canadian hit, Continuum.

-John Goodman might be joining Hangover III.

-Bill Nye asks parents to stop teaching Creationism to their kids.  Dude, no matter the belief, freedom of choice is something not to be tinkered with.  Regardless.

-Robin Roberts to get bone marrow transplant this Friday.  Good luck girl!
