A huge piece of spoiler news broke today via the website Hit Fix. It’s been spreading like wildfire (webfire?) as to who was spotted filming a scene on the set of Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises.
In this third Nolan Batman film, the collected cast includes
Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne;
Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon;
Anne Hathaway will be playing Selina Kyle;
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is playing John Blake;*
Tom Hardy as Bane;
Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate;
Morgan Freeman returning as Lucius Fox;
Josh Pence as the young Ra’s Al Ghul and….

Some people were tossing out choice words for who would toss out the name of the spoiler, and sure enough, a few folks did just that. Nice going folks… we’re trying to keep this on the low-low.
*Whose John Blake you ask? In The Dark Knight Rises, Blake is a cop, but if you want some background, Bleeding Cool has a tidbit on where John Blake has been seen before. If that’s the perspective they follow, that is.
The Dark Knight Rises will be in your movie theater come July 20, 2012. Most excellent day.
