House Is Getting Real Old, Did You See “Parents?”

Cinema Static - TV News, Movie News and other Entertainment OpinionIn last night’s episode of House, titled “Parents,” the only real moment that elicited any kind of emotional reaction out of me was when House tested the urine sample. Oh, and when the patients’ eyeball started to swell. Ick!

Other than that, it is all the same old s* over and over again, with the only variety being the new medical scenario that the team never solves because House always does.

Even when House managed to make it to that boxing match, once again screwing his his friend, Wilson, over yet again.

The cast of characters are complete and total morons to let House do these things to them over and over again. No one has put a foot down and everyone just sucks it up.

Even the new girl’s have fallen into the trap.

Dr. Park is just a shorter, opposite gender version of House and Dr. Adams is pretty much just laying down and letting House run over her because she was told to, since it makes no sense fighting it.

House messing with Taub’s children, despite Taub getting himself in this fanciful, unlikely predicament, I can’t imagine a single parent that would not have put House in his place when he keeps f*ing with their kids.

The best part, which is the diagnosis, that takes place in the last 15 minutes of the episode, was discovering what the patient had, how long he had it, and how/why “it” mutated and was not discovered in any panel test.

I don’t know about you, but I need something new and not recycled noise fromthe last seven seasons. And it seems evident since last night’s episode ratings were off by over 30% from last season.

Then again, having badly written, Syfy channel like dinosaur shows as the lead-in like Terra Nova, can’t be helping either.

But then again, how do I really feel? (If you’re about to ask why I watch it if it’s driving me nuts, the Mrs. still watches and well, husbands know how that goes. LOL)

For a long time House was a bright spec ( along with Breaking bad) in an otherwise desolate TV wasteland. Kudos for the creators having discovered the medical mystery story (Think Sherlock House). Agreed, that the storyline is about played out. Better for them to end it than have it croak due to second hand exposure to MMN from the reality shows. (mega moronic nonsense)
