Had the creators of Reaper actually had a chance to properly end their series before being yanked from The CW after 2 seasons, Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, had their ideas on how the show should have ended.
They were looking to have Andi work at the DMV!
Sam’s dad wasn’t dead because they were looking at him as having been a demon, but not fully human, so he couldn’t die. He was part demon, part human.
Sam’s powers came from his dad. Makes sense. The Devil was hanging with Sam because he was worried Sam would be his downfall!
That’s totally cool to read. It really drags when show runners, especially such successful show runners as Michele and Tara (The X-Files, Law & Order: SVU and consulting producers for Dollhouse. Not to mention they have a new pilot coming soon: Cutthroat.) get their vision cut short. In the long run, fans seem to get the short of it. But as the processes run on, the majority rules and the rest of us lose! Dag-nabbit.
