A neighbor asked me how she could block someone on Facebook who has become a turn-coat. She said she never wanted to see this person’s updates ever again, and that she didn’t want them seeing her updates. Ouch!
My first response was to drive to her house and take a baseball bat to her laptop, followed by a verbal explanation. Though that seemed to appeal to my neighbor, we both realized that the law would not tolerate that kind of zealous action.
I had to come up with a another method for her.
Here’s How to block users from seeing your Facebook updates and how to block seeing other users Facebook updates.
go to PROFILE (UR corner)
click on ## FRIENDS (left column, just a little bit below your profile pic)
Find that “FRIEND” and click on them. (This takes you to their profile.)
Now here is where you have options…
Way down on the bottom left of their page are the options REMOVE FROM FRIENDS (but that won’t block them from seeing you) or REPORT / BLOCK.
Clicking on REPORT / BLOCK brings up a window and you’ll have the option to disconnect from them. This is where you can block them from seeing most of your activity.
If you don’t want to see any of their posts, the next time you see an update of theirs, when you put your mouse over their name, a little tag titled HIDE shows up to the right… click on that and that will HIDE their updates so you never have to see them again.
Say-La-Vee!
