Iron Man 2, new DVD & Blu-ray release is coming out on September 28th, 2010. The hard-core fans such as myself just can’t wait, but waiting is going to have to happen.
As if waiting ain’t bad enough, I just discovered that there will be a special edition of the Iron Man 2 release called Iron Man 2 Limited Collector’s Edition Metal Case, exclusively only at Target. (Dang, glad I didn’t pre-order my movie yet!)
Target arranged for some specific exclusivity with the movie and its toys and this is just one more example of that arrangement.

That’s three hundred and twenty-five minutes of bonus material… woot! I remember the first Iron Man movie that came out, and it was the very first time I ever watched the extra’s that came with a movie, so I’m looking forward to this.
The down side is that it only available at Target or Target.com. ON the website, they’re offering it up at just under $35.

The original IRON MAN the movie that helped me pave the way to Blu-ray, and I cannot wait to see this one AND the extras on DVD. For what it’s worth, do take the time to check out the features of DVDs and Blu-rays, IN PARTICULAR commentary tracks. If you thought the Lord of the Rings was something, wait until you hear 1 of 9 different audio tracks you can listen to inside of that series of films. Spectacular, and truly helps you appreciate the way that movies – especially the great ones – are made.
