The most recent Iron Man 3 news has a new piece of concept art that came out and many say that this is proof that IM3 is based on the Extremis story line. I’d like to believe that, but I don’t see anything concrete about that premise.
What I do see from this promotional release of concept art is Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) wearing pieces of armor, some of it seems to be smoking or steaming. And that in this concept scene, armed men are surrounding Stark.
Again, a concept piece of art, much like other concept art that sometimes pans out and sometimes changes radically before the final product.
I’m sure this is the first-look concept for the Extremis Iron Man armor.

Cobie Smulders recently tweeted on June 29th that North Carolina is beautiful. With that was a picture tweet of a beach.
So the premise going with this curiously well-timed tweet would be, why is she in the same state that they’re filming Iron Man 3? Or was a tweet from someone who is now related to the Marvel comic franchise world a mere coincidence?
It would almost make sense that a new SHIELD agent would possibly take the place of the Black Widow from Iron Man 2. And since we won’t be seeing Scarlett Johansson in IM3, this makes perfect sense to me. SHIELD likes hovering or tinkering with Stark and I can see a new baby-sitter by his side.

It’s been said that Iron Man 3 will not tease us with any transitional end-credits scene for the next Avengers movie. That makes sense. Each Marvel movie product teased us with the next upcoming Marvel movie. So we won’t be seeing a teaser for Avengers, but what next movie will we be seeing.
There’s a huge internet flurry about Ant-Man but I’m not so confident about that idea as a movie or as a teaser for an Ant-Man movie.
If they stick to convention, it might be a teaser for Thor 2.
The third chapter of Iron Man is coming out in May of 2013 and Thor 2 is coming out in November of 2013. But that’s just a wild guess!
Some think it might be an Ant-Man teaser. My only difficulty with that one is that if Ant-Man tracked out better with the marketing gurus, I’d think this character would have seen a movie of his own already.
This character has been on bloggers minds forever and there seemed to be no real movement on the character. And when there was movement on the issue of a new Marvel movie, it turned out to be a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Not an Ant-Man movie. (which is due out in August of 2014.) And I’m hoping that Nova will be a part of the group. I was a huge Nova fan.

Well, aside from additional extras casting for IM3, if you’re going to Comic-Con, Iron Man 3 will be in Hall H from 6 to 7pm, on Saturday.
