I’m not sure about you but I was wondering exactly what the armor that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) would wear in Iron Man 3.
Obviously he’s going to probably start the movie in the armor we were introduced to in The Avengers, but like a kid with Hot Wheels, Tony is always getting new ones because he busts up the ones he has. Or on Tony’s case, wears and gets beat up in!
Marvel put out the armor from Iron Man 3 on display at Comic-Con that movie fans will be seeing. And I got all giddy.
It definitely detours from the predominately red look of the classic armor. In fact it looks like this could be what the Extremis story line armor looks like when he gets to it.
It does look cool… assuming what we’re all assuming. Right?
There will be more news out of Comic-Con today as Marvel’s panel kicks it in gear to make more announcements from San Diego.

And if this exists, I have to wonder if there’s going to be some cool armor footage from the convention today? It wouldn’t surprise me, that’s for sure!
