Brusimm Cinema Static TV NewsLately, I’ve been veering away from TV news on upcoming projects. I just don’t have the kind of time that one man needs to cover a lot of it… but this one, I could not resist.

NBC has ordered a dramatic thriller from J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke called Revolution.

As far as I’m concerned, these two combining to put something together goes beyond thrilling for this kid! If you’ve seen the CW’s series, Supernatural, starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, then you know what I’m talking about. It’s a great show.

Revolution takes place in a world where all forms of energy have disappeared and we follow some characters who are struggling to survive this situation and attempting to reunite with loved ones.

Bryan Burk (Fringe) will be executive producer.

I already can’t wait to see future TV news about this project and who they’ll start casting for roles.

(Sorry… I’m all fan-boying about this one!)

Of course, with Abrams involved, we have to keep an eye out for his infamous slusho drink that shows up in everything he puts together. It’s like half the fun with J.J. Abrams. (You should check out the Slusho link below to see what else I’ve put together about the infamous drink!)

FYI: Now Abrams has got shows on everything but ABC!
