On Wednesday, Jewel Staite (Stargate Atlantis, Firefly, Upcoming: Mothman, P5Ych) tweeted that she was offered a “lovely role” on Warehouse 13. She didn’t expound on it, but I have my guesses!
At the end of last season of Warehouse 13, besides blowing up, we discovered that Artie’s (Saul Rubinek) assistant, Leena (Genelle Williams) had ulterior motives and she wasn’t the nicey nice we all might have believed her to be.
Unless there was some serious and compelling reason to actually keep her around after that, it’s possible they’re replacing her with Staite? I’m just conjecturing on this, but it’s worth the fun!
I don’t see anything anywhere suggesting she’s doing anything else, so I just might be smoking something.
But regardless, this is awesome news for us Jewel Staite fans! Speaking of awesome, Jewel’s next public appearance will be at Wizard World in Anaheim, CA on April 16th to 18th, 2010.
