In a recent interview, Megan Masters got Joss Whedon to talk some more about his next installment of Doctor Horrible.

With the Dollhouse finale coming up, (See Dollhouse Finale Pictures for some non-spoilery fun) which we’ll be covering here on Cinema Static, people are wondering about Joss’s next plan of attack from his brain to our brains.
We’ve mentioned that he had a lunch scheduled with the head of FX, while we questioned if Joss Whedon Headed to FX, but we haven’t heard anything concrete come out of that yet.
Joss teased in this E! Online interview that his collaborators are being rude, getting all tied up with other jobs but the team just keeps having meetings and hammering out details on Dr. Horrible 2, as time allows.
He does mention he too is pretty busy… if you’ve forgotten, he’s got this directing gig that we told you about back in early December (See Joss Whedon Directing an Episode of Glee), and the word on the street is that Glee’s showrunners would love to have Neil Patrick Harris guest star in that very episode. That would be cool.
As far as future plans for Joss Whedon are concerned, stay tuned.
Whedon’s next project will happen in this calendar year along with other jobs he’ll be doing for other folks. Well, at least that’s what he’s said! Now, the hard part. Waiting!
