Back in the day, in preparation for the Serenity movie release, Joss Whedon had released some viral videos called the R. Tam Sessions. They were what I might call prequels of a sort, showing us what the Alliance was doing with River Tam while in their “care.”
Summer Glau plays River Tam and Joss Whedon is the counselor.
The sessions are a bit disturbing, from a Firefly world sense of sanity, and if you bought the Collector’s Edition Serenity DVD.
Check out the disturbing, developing River Tam through this series of counseling sessions. It made me go whoa when all was said and done!
