Katee Sackhoff whom we’ve become endeared to through her portrayal of Starbuck on Battlestar Galactica or co-stars on Fox’s 24 this season, has found a new niche.
She’s set to star in an ABC crime drama being written by Richard Hatem.
The show will be centered around a female detective who is paired up with disgraced ex-cop whose trying to get to the bottom of what got him disgraced in the first place.
Richard Hatem’s previous works include The Mothman Prophecies and Under Siege 2: Dark Territory. He’s also worked on the television series’ Steven King’s Dead Zone and The CW’s Supernatural.
I’ve enjoyed Sackhoff’s portrayal of Starbuck on BSG and am quite annoyed by her portrayal of the victimized Dana Walsh on Fox’s 24. But that’s a good thing, that she can evidence such a different character of sorts. She’s proven she can generate a gammut of character traits to myself and teamed up with Hatem, I’m thinking it might not be too bad, if they’re given enough creative freedom to create this unnamed crime drama.
We shall see, as I always say.

Sounds like a 2010 version of “Moonlighting”.
