After digging around a bit, I didn’t find a huge amount of plans by networks for the upcoming Labor Day weekend… but if you opt out of checking out the new movies in theaters this Labor Day weekend, maybe you were pondering what’s on the tube. (Hmm, TV’s aren’t really tubes anymore. The flat? The tile? Eh, we’ll figure it out. Any suggestions?)
But here’s what I did discover that will be on over the holiday weekend, AND REMEMBER, all schedules can change, so double check with your local listing or smartphone app.

STARZ In Black “Torchwood: Miracle Day” Labor Day Marathon – Monday, September 3 from 10am to 11:10pm
One day, nobody dies. All around the world, nobody dies. And then the next day, and the next, and the next, people keep aging — they get hurt and sick — but they never die. The result: a population boom, overnight. “Torchwood: Miracle Day,” a STARZ Original series, stars John Barrowman (“Torchwood”, “Desperate Housewives”) as Captain Jack Harkness, Eve Myles (“Torchwood”, “Little Dorrit”) as Gwen Cooper, Mekhi Phifer (“ER”, “Lie to Me”) as Rex Matheson and Bill Pullman (While You Were Sleeping, Independence Day) as Oswald Danes.
- 10:00am Episode 101: The New World
- 11:00am Episode 102: Rendition
- 12:00pm Episode 103: Dead of Night
- 1:00pm Episode 104: Escape to LA
- 2:00pm Episode 105: The Categories of Life
- 3:00pm Episode 106: The Middle Men
- 4:00pm Episode 107: Immortal Sins
- 5:00pm Episode 108: End of the Road
- 6:00pm Episode 109: The Gathering
- 7:00pm Episode 110: The Blood Line
At least the episodes are in order. I hate when a network splatters the order then blames fan popularity for confusing the crap out of you.
