Law & Order: Los Angeles, Starring Skeet Ulrich

I’ve been wondering what Skeet Ulrich has been up to since his excellent appearance on CSI:NY as a murderous madman… and guess what? I found out!  Skeet Ulrich will be starring in the upcoming new spinoff legal procedural, Law & Order: Los Angeles.  I’m sure you guys already know this, but if anyone out there is like me and was pondering the idea of boycotting the new show…  well, here’s some news to ruin your plans!

Ulrich will be playing detective Rex Winters, along with Corey Stoll who plays detective Tomas “TJ” Jarusalski, both members of the Los Angeles Police Department’s elite Robbery Homicide Division.

Their district attorney, who is a sarcastic realist will be played by Alfred Molina. (I really like sarcastic realists.)

Terrence Howard has also joined the cast, plus we’ll see Wanda De Jesus, Regina Hall, Supernatural’s own Jim Beaver as Frank Loomis, Oded Fehr who is no longer guarding mummy secrets, Danielle Panabaker and bunches more.

To be honest, if Skeet can bring anything like he’s brought to Jericho and his CSI:NY role of Hollis Eckhart, this will be an incredible lead role that could help propel this new series to great heights while carrying on the the traditions of the Law & Order franchise.

I’m admittedly aggravated they canceled the primary series short of 1 record-breaking season, but business is what it is, whether it be money, politics or both combined.  Right gang?

Check out Skeet Ulrich’s rather pragmatic and realistic approach to the role and his take on portraying his role.
