Good news gang… A and E and renewed Longmire for a third season.
Season three will have 10 one-hour episodes.
If you haven’t watched the show, it’s a nice throwback to a different era. No, it doesn’t take place in a different era. it takes place now, in a time of cell phones and internet access. But Sheriff Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) is not one to fully embrace the era. He often gets his calls, via his partner, because he doesn’t carry a cell phone. And his home is a simple one in the hills of Wyoming.
But he gets the job done any way!
The show ended the second season after averaging 3.7 million viewers per episode and has been called A and E’s most watched original drama.
And yes, if you’re wondering, the show is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson.
