Lost Parrot in Menlo Park

I saw this sign up and about the neighborhood her in Menlo Park… we have a lost African Grey Timmeh Parrot… he made a break for it yesterday (5-15-12). If you see the little guy or end up saving him, his name is Peanut and there are the details in the pic below… I don’t know of the folks, but I feel bad for the escape of their family member, so I thought I’d give this a try!

The phone number is accurate and I have permission from the owner to post/show it.

Hello,

I work for http://www.parrotalert.com a global geographical lost, stolen and found parrot reporting and alerting site.
We utilises mapping technology to help report the precise location of your feathered friend and alerts a registered community within an area of the lost/stolen/found reported. We currently have over 6400 members registered with us.

I came across your posting. I have checked our database, we have one possible found report. Found 51 days 16 miles from location.

Could you let Thomas and Louise know about our service.
We can help spread the word. Reports will automatically be posted in various bird forums, an email alert will be sent to our members in the area, posted on our twitter account, posted in our relevant facebook country group, plus many people share on their own facebook wall, groups or pages.

To receive up to date alerts yourself, you can register for free, details can be found on our homepage.

From all of us at parrotalert, we pray and hope Peanut is home and safe soon.

Regards
Sharon
