When ABC hosted the Lost trivia contest, and giving 815 winners a USB stick that had the Lost season 6 sneak peak, they fully expected the video to get out in the wild. If you think about it, the timing is perfect with less than a week to go before the season 6 premiere.
This is the kind of advertising they were looking for, the homegrown, grassroots style advertising. Which to some degree is pretty cool. Yet any kind of online video of the teasers, trailers or ads for the show aren’t put out there on YouTube by ABC at all. They’ve been saving themselves some bucks and letting the fans go stir crazy!
Lost will be premiering its 6th season on February 2nd and they’re taking the entire evening on ABC to air it. There will be a recap show and then the premiere.

But is the show actually ending?
There’s been talk of having the Lost franchise live on, even if it’s without the current show runners, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. But there are no real definitive plans out there that the show runners know of. No spinoff talk, or such.
Eh, whatever.
It is what it is. I may tune in… it’s more than likely. But I’ve been burned out with all the mysteries they’ve been teasing us with, and as far as I’m concerned, no pay-out on the issues I’ve been focused on. But we’ll see how it goes.

I know that the show is going to have a Soprano’s like ending, so be ready for that. At least they said you’ll be talking about it like people did, The Soprano’s.
That in itself is telling me there might be more unanswered issues, much like the way Ronald D. Moore scr***, I mean gave us that up-in-the-air ending to Battlestar Galactica. That left me feeling hollow and almost ruined my 4 seasons of watching the show. It was that distracting to me.
