Why is it, no matter what era we’re in, we never see a system in any restaurant where we can electronically request our servers attention?
What I’d love to see in eating establishments is a wireless (Or hardwired system) where you can press a button and a light would go off either at the wait station or over your table.
Why do we never see that? Can someone invent that simple technology and process so I can start pestering my wait staff with impatient impunity?
Then again, when I put it that way, maybe there’s a reason this process hasn’t been invented!
