MARVEL Reboots In September 2015
Hard core comic fans are probably already aware, but for those who are intermittent fans, you might not realize it but there’s a story line in the Marvel comics world, called Secret Wars, that, when its over, will apparently herald in a new era of Marvel.
Beginning on September 1, 2015, all Marvel titles will (reboot) to #1, but Marvel says that the character continuities will remain intact. So that should be interesting in that they are avoiding the word reboot.
In this reboot… sorry, shakeup, even established characters will be getting some details shifted on them.
We’ve already seen what is coming with the new Thor (Dr. Jane Foster) and Captain America (Sam Wilson, formerly The Falcon), but we’ll be seeing a new Spider-Man, a new kind of Hulk, and apparently Wolverine isn’t completely dead, like I thought.
We might even be seeing a new character wearing the Iron Man armor.
I think everything is getting realigned to help the movie-sphere, but that’s just a guess on my part.
No Love Lost From Marvel Entertainment for Marvel Television?
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but despite as much support as Agents of SHIELD has given to the Marvel movie world, they are not getting it back in return.
We’ve been watching Agents of SHIELD and they have alluded to events in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In fact the opening scene, you would believe, is the direct result of deeds done in SHIELD. But if I am not mistaken, nary a word about their source was mentioned in the movie.
Then there were reports saying that the two worlds, small screen and big screen, aren’t seeing eye to eye, so we may never see much credence given to the small screen from their big brothers.
Like I said in a previous post, sometimes the legal side of things make the fun we see, well, disparaging.

Disney Changes Some of Star Wars History
Speaking of Changes at Marvel, Disney is making a bit of a big change for themselves.

For the Love of Spock
Adam Nimoy has started a Kickstarter campaign to create a documentary about his father, Leonard Nimoy, and it is titled For the Love of Spock. Zachary Quinto will be narrating.
At the moment, it is just a (pipe) dream, seeing as how Adam needs $600k to fund the film. And it is an interesting testament that the fans who loved Nimoy/Spock are a bit of aminority to such a degree that no major studio would step up and do this for the fans.
Be it as it may, the Kickstater campaign is up to $100k (6-4-15) at the time of this writing.
